The First World War Poetry Digital Archive

For many of us the First World War is still defined by the poets who captured the filth, death and futility of the trenches through their poetry.

This then is a handy calling point for any detailed study of their lives and work with over 7000 items of text, images, audio, and video for teaching, learning, and research.

The site, which is maintained by Oxford University, is also home to the Great War Archive containing over 6,500 items contributed by the general public between March and June 2008.
