Heritage Shared, the Anglo Sikh Heritage Trail, throughout September 2009
This year's Anglo Sikh Heritage Trail celebrating the rich history that connects the British with the Sikhs through a series of events, research and education kicks off on September 3.
Called Heritage Shared, the year's event includes an exclusive performance from the UK's leading British Asian musicians Tigerstyle in the historic grounds of the Tower of London. There will also be a gallery talk by internationally renowned artists The Singh Twins and storytelling for young people at the V&A museum of Childhood.

"This unique series of events aims to inspire inform and entertain," said Harbinder Singh, Director of the ASHT.
Tigerstyle also saids they were keen to be involved in this year's event. "Performing a live session, outdoors at the tower of London will be a historic occasion," they said. "We are excited about launching this season with ASHT and have had a keen interest in Sikh history and culture throughout our upbringing and music."

Throughout September Heritage Shared offers an exciting programme of 15 events taking place nationally and combines music, theatre, visual art and illustrated talks - all profiling momentous chapters in Anglo Sikh history
