Between 2010 and 2011, an amateur competition in East Riding challenged residents to capture what their Yorkshire home really meant to them.
Three judges had the tricky task of picking the best 100, going on show in a kind of mass local photo album.
“It is a fascinating take on the East Riding,” says local councillor Jane Evisan.
“It gives us a glimpse of what the East Riding looked like in the past two years.
“The photos depict life in our towns and villages throughout the four seasons, showing us just how diverse our area is.”
The show will tour to Sewerby, Goole and Pocklington before the end of 2013.
- Open 9.30am-5pm (8pm Tuesday and Thursday, 9am-4pm Saturday, closed Sunday). Admission free.
