For the past year this website, created by the Tank Museum in Bovington, has been gradually building up a picture of the role tanks played in D-Day. With the 60th anniversary almost upon us, regular diary updates tell the story of what happened in this week all those years ago. The site is searchable and packed with information on the regiments that took part, the tanks they used and what happened to them.
