
Greenham Common is a name synonymous with anti-nuclear protest, but Greenham: A Common Inheritance shows there is a bigger story and explores the history of the 1,000 acres of open land near Newbury in Berkshire. A digital archive of more than 3,500 objects acquired by West Berkshire Museum over more than a century opens up this much-talked about landscape from ancient occupation to the storage of nuclear weapons and beyond.
