Funded by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) through the Renaissance West Midlands initiative, Footsteps In Time has been created by staff at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum with the help of local schoolchildren. Artefacts from the Herbert's collection join Coventry's historic landmarks and artwork inspired by them online in an educational tour of the city that also provides a neat digital introduction to its heritage. Easy to navigate and packed full of images and info, this site is perfect for use in the classroom or for adults with a little time to kill.
