“If other people did this, it could bring the world together,” says Ram, a participant from the Shri Kanaga Thurkkai Amman Hindu Temple.
“Visiting the mosque and the Sikh temple and other places of worship has opened my eyes – it has broadened my mind in many ways.”
For her part, Dwyer – whose studies explore faith and migration in suburbia – hopes the banners offer historical perspectives and act as a catalyst for interfaith interaction between visitors.
