World War Two code breaking centre Bletchley Park is desperately seeking new volunteer tour guides and stewards to cope with soaring visitor numbers.

Last year Bletchley welcomed 100,000 visitors through its doors and staff are working hard to maintain similar figures for this year.

A new volunteer campaign will kick off with a special recruitment fair on March 12 and 13, where the Park's team of guides will be on hand to meet new recruits and show them the ropes.

"We are delighted that Bletchley Park is now attracting the level of interest it is and generating such passion for its cause among people from all over the world," said Simon Greenish, Director, Bletchley Park Trust.

"Despite a doubling in the number of visitors in recent years, from 50,000 to 100,000 in 2009, remarkably it has all been achieved with the same number of staff and volunteers."

Full training will be given if you choose to volunteer and you can give up as little or as much time as you wish.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, email Volunteer Co-ordinator Niki Holmes Bridges or call her on 01908 272675.
