It introduces a seemingly exhaustive array of regimental and battle histories together with background detail on organisation, methods, training, tactics and many other aspects of the British Army at war 1914-18.

It's also a handy starting point for battlefield tourists with the author's guide to visiting Ypres, Poperinge, Somme and Arras complete with maps links, hotel guides and suggested tour itineraries. For those wanting to research soldier's records the site is again very informative with clear guides through the myriad sources for British military documents between 1914-18.
