A 36ft long Hollywood style sign has been erected at Bosworth Battlefield to mark the 525th anniversary of the famous battle in 1485 when King Richard III lost his life to Henry Tudor.
The sign, which can be seen from a mile away and says ‘Bosworth 525’, has been created entirely out of wood to help publicise celebrations taking place over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday August 21 and 22.
Hundreds of medieval re-enactors will be recreating the decisive and bloody battle that saw the birth of the all powerful Tudor dynasty.
