The National Maritime Museum Greenwich's collection has gone digital with the launch of its new picture library website.

There are over 14,500 images online - including oil paintings, prints, historic photographs and objects from the London-based Museum’s extensive collections – and the range is expanding throughout 2009.

The site includes lightboxes and high resolution downloads, as well as themed searches and collections highlights to make it easy for eagle-eyed researchers to find just the image they need.
