Paul Martin prepares for a trip to Manchester
Famous for shifting a £4 ceramic bowl for £3,500 and a seemingly innocuous Shelley tea set for £3,400, the public Valuation Day will hope to repeat its lucrative vein of luck, most notably when a ceremonial cup sold for £44,000.
“The Museum of Science and Industry will provide the perfect setting,” said Louise Hibbins, the Series Producer for a show which regularly attracts two million viewers.
“Our experts are all looking forward to offering people the chance to have their items valued in such an important and interesting museum, which allows its visitors to uncover Manchester’s many industrial and scientific achievements.
“If visitors have ever wondered how much their boot sale bargains or clutter in the loft might be worth, now is the time to find out.”
- Open 9.30am-4pm. Selected items will be auctioned on March 26 2013.
