Jon Downes and Richard Freeman, who are directors of the Centre for Fortean Zoology, will report back from their quest for the Almasty – a Bigfoot-style primal ape – in southern Russia, as well as further pursuits of Mexican goatsuckers, the African dragon Ninki-nanka and humdrum British equivalents such as the Loch Ness Monster.

The pair will also discuss ways of gaining funding, how to prepare for a trip and the sort of eyewitnesses who should be interrogated in mythical territories, followed by wine and a private view of the Museum as part of its Animal Adventures season.
