Canons Ashby Tudor Experience

School groups are invited to find out what life would have been like in a house like Canons Ashby at the end of the 16th century. Children learn about the life of Tudor servants in the kitchen and the house, learn about the life of the house owners, are taught some Tudor dances and find out about Tudor architecture as they are shown around the house. Group size max 36. KS2. 10:00 - 14:00

Tudor Activity mornings

An intensive 2 hour 'Hands On' morning activity session, where the children learn about the house in Tudor times through a range of quick fire activities held in the actual building.
Activities range from such things as writing their name in Tudor script to learning how a bread oven worked.
There is a chance to stay on in the afternoon for teacher led extension activities in the church or park.
