The Alfred East Art Gallery offers a range of temporary exhibitions, art workshops and talks among other events held throughout the year.

The Gallery was originally built to house the Sir Alfred East painting collection which he gave to the Borough of Kettering in 1910. It now holds a significant collection of 19th and 20th century fine art by many notable British artists and the collection is a valuable resource for research and enjoyment alike. It is not possible to display all of the works in the collection at once. For specific queries, please contact the Gallery.

Life Drawing

Life Drawing Classes

  • 15 November 2017 7-9pm

Untutored, monthly life drawing sessions set in the Large Gallery on the third Wednesday evening of every month. Whether you are a professional or amateur artist, or just 'looking to keep your hand in', these sessions could be suited to you. The Gallery has a limited number of easels that can be loaned on the evening. Chairs are provided and there will be a professional life model.

Booking is not required,attending Life Drawing works on a first come first serve basis.
