Newstead Abbey is the ancestral home of the Poet Lord Byron. There is much to see including the poet's private apartments. The house is set in 300 acres of historic parkland and is the perfect place to explore beautiful formal gardens, woodland, lakes and waterfalls.

Take your time and wander around our spectacular rooms. Visit the private apartments of Poet Lord Byron and the Victorian rooms of the Webb family. We are running an open house at Newstead Abbey every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. The house features paintings featured on the Your Paintings website.
