Sudbury Hall is a 17th Century house situated in the picturesque village of Sudbury in Derbyshire. It was built by the Vernon family and contains exquisite examples of craftsmanship, including an impressive wood carving by Grinling Gibbons. The Victorian servants’ wing of the Hall is now the National Trust Museum of Childhood. The Museum explores childhood through time and offers an interactive experience that will appeal to young and old. The stable yard is a social space with tearooms and a shop. The grounds consist of a woodland adventure play area and a topiary garden with calming lake views.
