A 15th century manor house, once the home of Shakespeare's granddaughter, Elizabeth Bernard, who is buried in the nearby church. It is now a museum including the history of the house.

Art in the Park
Have your artwork exhibited in a beautiful grade 1 listed building surrounded by Abington Park. This is an open exhibition for all Northamptonshire artists to submit their work.

A major new exhibition about the life of Abington Park Museum- its history as a manor house and home of the last ancestor of William Shakespeare, as an asylum and its most recent transformation into a well-loved museum.

Nasty Northampton Family Fun Day
Celebrate Northampton’s past; naughty, nice and nasty with plenty of interactive fun for all the family. The day will include a host of opportunities to learn about life in Northampton in the past through hand-on activities. Have a go in the stocks, make a pomander to stave off the plague, visit the medieval doctor for some gruesome and weird remedies and get a medieval makeover (boils included!)
