Exhibition Preview: Anish Kapoor, Lisson Gallery, London, until November 10 2012

From sky mirrors and Turbine Halls to blood red carpets, directorial control over the Brighton Festival and a first Royal Academy show ever to be devoted to a solo artist, one constant of Anish Kapoor’s career – or at least the past 30 years of it – has been a creative alliance with the Lisson Gallery.

But it’s not all reflective – a number of new pieces are on show, expanding the Bombay-born former Turner Prize winner’s infatuation with luminous colour and subterranean materials. A pulsing sonic section also shows his continued verve for experimentation.

  • Lisson Gallery, Bell Street, London. Open 10am-6pm (11am-5pm Saturday, closed Sunday). Admission free. Follow the gallery on Twitter @Lisson_Gallery.
