In Pictures: Rankin at St Ann's Allotments

Rankin's foray into the world of Nottinghamshire allotments saw the photographer thrill locals in one of the highlights of Museums at Night 2014

Known for his photos of celebrities, the charismatic photographer captured the portraits and affections of the allotment holders on a day when the BBC cameras were also in attendance.

“The pictures are absolutely brilliant," Michael Peacock, who was one of Rankin's sitters, told The Nottingham Post.

"He really captured the people and their personalities."
