MP Glenda Jackson, Channel 4 presenter Miquita Oliver and artists Gavin Turk and Bompas and Parr are among the sitters for YOUYOU, a scheme which has sought out the finest aspiring protégés across London, Essex and the South-East.
The group spent last year absorbing masterclasses from the likes of Richard Bailey and Andy Fallon, leading to the Discovering Hidden Talent show at The Strand Gallery.
"It was an amazing privilege to photograph Glenda Jackson and [chef] Fergus Henderson," said George Muigua, a 17-year-old from North-West London who was "over the moon" to have won a place on the project.

"YOUYOU has been a life-line for me because I had no outlet to focus my interests.
"I have a passion for photography and would borrow my sister's camera to take pictures. I've learnt so much from Richard Bailey, my mentor."
The pupils were encouraged to develop their flair and imagination by sessions focusing on music, celebrity, commercial and editorial photography.
They were described as "charming" and "clearly bursting with talent" by Theroux, who posed for behind-the-scenes photos at the London Underground Restaurant.
- CLOSE-UP: Discovering Hidden Talent runs until January 8 2012. The Strand Gallery, John Adam Street, London. Open 11am-7pm. Admission free.
