The Brighton Photo Fringe runs until November 16 2008.
The third annual Brighton Photo Fringe, running parallel to the Brighton Photo Biennial, is in full swing, with a strong programme of more than 75 exhibitions and events.
Paintings made using blood and salt, photographic treasure hunts and portraits of iconic music stars are just some of the diverse range of exhibitions on offer.
The fringe runs through October to November 16 2008 and supports local photographers and lens-based artists, increasing access to and participation in photography exhibitions.
Venues include the city’s museum, independent galleries, artists’ studios, cafes and shops, plus unconventional sites including a darkroom in a Transit van, a Regency period townhouse in the midst of restoration and a tattoo parlour.
There is also a selection of workshops, debates and discussions for novice, amateur and professional photographers and artists.
A full brochure and venue map providing details of all exhibitions, is available from all participating venues and local visitor attractions.
