Two popular veteran artists return for a ninth year of their annual joint show at the Elgar Birthplace Museum: David Birtwhistle first exhibited his paintings in 1970, and has frequently worked with The National Trust and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, as well as appearing in a book, The Spirit of Worcestershire, featuring 30 of his watercolours in 2001.
John Harris is a former Welsh Artist of the Year and a regular at the Mall Galleries in London, and won an open competition in honour of Elgar’s 150th birthday in 2007.
The run of the exhibition is timed to coincide with the museum’s Three Choirs Festival – one of the world’s oldest classical choral music festivals.
- Open 10am-5pm. Admission £3.50-£7.50 (family ticket £15).
