To anyone unfamiliar with the faith-testing nuances of following West Bromwich Albion, the club’s artist-in-residence and erstwhile programme adorner extraordinaire, Paine Proffitt, demonstrates the family bonds, identity, history, love, culture and hardships of following the club in this emotional show.
“It’s been an honour and a pleasure working with the club’s programme team,” he says, having helped the club episodic win awards last season.
“I’m really excited about seeing so many pieces of the original artwork in one place at the same time.
“It’s been a thrill working on this series and it’s meant a lot to me both artistically and personally.” Baggies fans should feel the same sense of connection.
