Modernism: Designing a New World opens at the Victoria and Albert Museum on April 6 2006 and promises to be one of the biggest exhibitions of the year. The first in-depth look at the key defining movements of 20th century design, the V&A have promised a thoroughly and absorbing exhibition covering all the major players - from Mondrian to Mies van der Rohe.
