A Tudor renaissance at the Mary Rose Museum

Joss Stone's dress for her role as Anne of Cleves
Shaped and weaved by Joan Bergin, who is no stranger to Emmys on her mantelpiece alongside a string of Irish Film and Television Academy awards, the previous outings for the designs count Los Angeles' Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Museum and New York fashion emporium Macy's as host venues.
They are now back in Portsmouth, where they first appeared in 2011, in a display which will also boost the £35 million revamp of the Mary Rose Museum.

Around 500 costumes were made for The Tudors, with many more rented and modified
"I would encourage everyone with an interest in British History to support the new Mary Rose Museum appeal.
"It will transform the Museum into a wonderful contemporary space through which to explore our extraordinary past." These costumes are not a bad place to start.
- The costumes are on display until April 15 2012.
