Craft makers of the North East are uniting for the Art and Craft Market at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland.
The event will be held on November 14-15, bringing together 16 contemporary artists and makers. There will also be fundraising events and glass blowing demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Cassandra Harrison, co-founder of the Newcastle Craft Mafia, who are taking part in the event for the first time, said the collective was "really excited" about exhibiting at the "fabulous" venue.
“As we are a new group to the handmade scene, having only just formed in May earlier this year, we felt that this would be a great opportunity to showcase the breadth of our skills," she added.
“Handmade bags, knitted hats, clothes, original art...we've got a lot to offer. We take great pride in providing beautifully made alternatives to the mass produced products on the high street.”
Izzy McDonald-Booth, Craft and Design Curator and Buyer at the NGC, said: "This is a chance to buy and see locally handcrafted beautiful gifts. We are thrilled to be having such a wide range of exciting and established people selling work here."
