Ten years after opening, Lincolnshire’s epicentre of nimble-fingered style is harking back to its first exhibition.

Titled What is Craft?, that 2003 show invited some of the best makers in the country along to the party, and today’s finest – including glass specialist Samantha Donaldson, jewellery from Lisa Juen and the furniture of designer Sebastian Cox – have been ushered in this time.

All of them have been nominated by well-informed observers: Rosy Greenlees, the Director of the Crafts Council, chose basketmaker Stella Harding for her deployment of materials and unusual techniques, as well as Sarah Warsop, whose sense of movement imbues her jewellery with some of the skills she fostered as a dancer and choreographer.
