Watch This Space, Young and Emerging Artists Charity auction, The Special Yoga Centre, London, 8 December.

Avid art collectors are being offered a great investment opportunity this week – the chance to get their hands on work by the big names of the future.

Work donated by some of the most exciting and inspiring up-and-coming artists will be sold off in a live auction led by an auctioneer from one of the UK's leading Auction Houses.

Watch This Space, Curators of emerging talent, are organising the event in aid of Kensal Rise’s The Special Yoga Centre whose unique yoga progamme helps children suffering from a huge range of special needs.

The evening will not only give collectors a chance to discover some hot new artists, and support their practice by purchasing their work, it will also raise much needed funds for the centre.

The centre was founded in 2004 as a charitable organisation and has been offering yoga to all regardless of financial or cultural constraints.

Children from all walks of life, including the late son of shadow Prime Minister David Cameron have benefited from the care and teaching that it provides.

The centre has helped children with Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and other physical and developmental difficulties.

The last auction was hosted by Gabbi Roslin and raised a staggering £100,000. A Christie’s auctioneer auctioned off pieces that included a spot painting and etchings by Damien Hirst.

Visitors are promised a lively evening with a vibrant crowd, Christmas cocktails and a special celebrity host.

It is the perfect way to enter into this season of goodwill – as well as funds going to The Special Yoga Centre, a percentage of proceeds will go to the artists themselves.

Tickets are £20 and are available by contacting or tel: 020 8968 1900.
