Fred the colourful horse and masterful mural artists launch Scotland's Spring Fling festival

A horse, disused seaside substations and barns are among the canvasses for a set of huge mural artworks as part of this weekend's Spring Fling

Nearly 100 studios will take part in the 12th year of the festival around Dumfries and Galloway, including two dozen artists whose work has not been seen before.
