Aesthetica Art Prize takes contemporary competition hopefuls to York Art Gallery

Discussing “some of the most poignant issues of our times,” the Aesthetica Art Prize is about to return to York

Eight contemporary artists feature in the exhibition, with a further 92 showing their work on monitors within York Art Gallery’s contemporary art space, York St Mary’s. More than 3,000 entries were received for a show which attracted 10,000 visitors last year.

The Aesthetica Art Prize 2014 is at York Art Gallery from April 4 – June 22 2014.
