The Beacon's first show of the year is a regional-focused one deriving local creations from pop-up shops, art in empty spaces, day care centres, puppets and graffiti made by school and woodcarvings and ceramics from a project, Pathways to Arts.
Part-funded by the European Community European Regional Development Fund, it aims to "re-unite" participants with the places and people which have meaning to them through a series of portraits across a range of mediums.
The aim is to get individuals and groups to connect with art and creativity, and the results are as diverse as the surrounding communities.
- Open 10am-4.30pm Tuesday-Sunday. Admission £3.60-£5 (free for accompanied under-16s).
