The Regency Town House is a Grade 1 listed, 5 storey town house, built in the 1820s. It is currently under restoration and once complete will be open on a daily basis as a museum and heritage centre.

Our archive focuses mainly on Brunswick Town and the greater area of Brighton & Hove between 1790 - 1840. It includes a number or books, prints, plans and drawings from this area and includes a number of works by the architect Charles Augustin Busby. As yet, none of these are on display, but can be viewed by appointment by those with a serious interest.

Standard Tour

Our standard house tour comprises an audio-visual introduction to the development of Brighton and Hove through the 18th and early 19th centuries, a tour of the main reception rooms in No. 13 and a visit to the basement of No. 10 to see the 'domestic offices'.

How to obtain

The tour cost £5.00 per person, lasts between 70 and 80 minutes (exact duration is audience dependent) and is fully guided. Until renovation is complete, all tours must be booked in advance by emailing nick@rth.org.uk, by telephoning 01273 206306 or by using the book online system.
