Warwickshire County Record Office is involved in safeguarding, managing and developing Warwickshire's archives so that they can be accessed, interpreted and enjoyed by all those with an interest in Warwickshire's past and its people. We hold records dating from the twelfth century up to the twenty first to do with Warwickshire's history.

Animals in the Archives

There are many animals hiding in the collections at Warwickshire County Records Office
everything from photos of elephants walking down Nuneaton High Street to depictions of the Warwickshire bear and other animals on colourful seals and documents. Come to our family friendly afternoon and view some of our original documents to do with animals, tour our strongrooms where we keep our precious documents and get crafy with our animal related make and take activities.
