Photographs are a great way of capturing memories of particular moments in time but a new exhibition at Leek’s Nicholson Museum and Art Gallery promises to transport visitors to a whole new world.

The images enable viewers to see and experience the Peak District as they’ve never done so before through the lenses of dedicated photographers who travel around the region to capture diverse landscapes in stunning images.

Councillor Sybil Ralphs, Leader of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and portfolio holder for arts and culture, said: “Those of us who are fortunate enough to live and work in the Moorlands and the Peak District can sometimes take for granted its amazing scenery and environment.

“This exhibition not only reminds of what is all around us, it opens our eyes to a whole new way of seeing it. The images are outstanding I’m sure everyone who visits and sees them will leave with a new perspective on this particularly beautiful area of the country.”
