it is the seat of the Bishop and a centre of worship for the Diocese of Sheffield, serving the whole of South Yorkshire.

Sheffield Cathedral is open every day and entry is free.

There are services every weekday and on Sundays, and there is a varied programme of educational, music, and social events.
