Commemorating the lives of the men who fought in the Battle of the Somme and adapted from real stories, this play focuses on the impact of war on families and home life. In collaboration with Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life and using a mixture of shadow puppetry, projection, spoken word and music from the period, the story follows the men of the Border Regiment who fell in combat.
Following 7 different stories, the members of Prism Arts Studio Theatre have devised all aspects of this play. They take you through a journey of how this life changing event affected people and families from all walks of life.
