* LCB Depot is Leicester’s creative business centre. It is a service operated by Leicester City Council that seeks to support, stimulate and develop the city’s creative industries. It offers workspaces for creative businesses, meeting rooms for hire, exhibition space for local and regional artists and curators, networking events, creative business development programmes, and a café/bar that's open to the public Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with free wifi. LCB Depot also manages workspaces for creatives at Phoenix; and studios for artists and designer-makers at Makers' Yard.

Open 26a Part Two

Open 26a is an exhibition of work by three artists awarded LCB Depot prizes at the Open 26 exhibition, held at Newarke Houses Museum in Leicester in 2015.

Open 26a complements the Open 27 exhibition which is on show 12 March to 8 May 2016 at Leicester's New Walk Museum & Art Gallery.

See new work by Tim Fowler (6 April - 5 May) in Lightbox, our new main gallery space at the front of our building, just inside our main entrance. 'The Popular Crowd' is a series of new paintings based on various iconic people and images. This ranges from black and white film actors and actresses such as Audrey Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart to stills from Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho'.
