Curve Gallery is an international gallery concept that is responsive and versatile promoting contemporary work by emerging artists and designers. Curve is located in the UK and will be opening a new extension in Australia early in 2012 to encourage international exchange between these two locations.

Curve is focused on creating a supportive environment to stimulate creative thought and the advancement of new experiences in contemporary art. Curve takes risks, presenting work that is challenging in both vision and execution.

Established in 2007 Curve Gallery quickly became a focal point in Liverpool for outsider and underground art by exhibiting diverse works from emerging Liverpool and International artists. Receiving critical acclaim during the 2008 European Capital of Culture year and Liverpool Biennial, Curve has successfully continued to curate and promote exciting contemporary work and plays a central role in the city's cultural landscape and expanding independent art scene. The 2010 Liverpool Biennial further enhanced Curve Gallery's reputation as a platform for advanced artistic intervention at the forefront of modernism.

Curve Gallery & Studios occupy a 19th Century warehouse in Liverpool’s city centre, close to the Walker Art Gallery, FACT and TATE Liverpool. Curve welcomes collaboration and exchange with galleries and artists that have an international dialogue. Curve can facilitate artist studios and exhibition space that focus on international residencies for periods of up to 3 months.
