Eastury Manor house in Summer

Eastbury Manor House London Open Gardens Squares Day

  • 15 June 2014 12-5pm

Explore our gardens and find out about our plans for Eastbury. Learn about the medicinal herbs that were used in Tudor times and talk to our gardeners for some tips and suggestions. Listen to a talk about Tudor gardens and gardeners, sample local produce from Dagenham and buy some plants. Children can come along and make willow bird feeders and enjoy a walk exploring the unusual herbs in the herb garden. Talks with Q&A at 14:30pm;

Come and explore Eastbury with our knowledgeable National Trust guides. Enjoy our permanent exhibition and audio visual presentation about the history of the house. Sample Tudor foods in our newly refurbished tearoom at 2pm and join in traditional Tudor games and dressing up sessions.
