Writing on the Wall (WOW) is an annual programme of events that culminate in a Liverpool-based festival. The festival features local, national and international writers, artists, historians and musicians who engage local communities and broader audiences to celebrate writing, diversity, tolerance, story-telling and humour through controversy, inquiry and debate.
Writing on the Wall focuses on writing that empowers, where storytellers give and receive strength through telling. Writing on the Wall promotes both individual and collective creativity.
