River & Cloth is an arts and heritage programme celebrating the enormous contribution and worldwide influence of the Merton textile industry based around the Wandle Valley. Throughout 2009 and 2010, we shall be engaging schools and community groups based in Merton in an exciting programme of arts activities which enable them to take pride in their local heritage.
