Lincolnshire Archives is the public archive service for Lincolnshire. The Archives centre in Lincoln offers an accessible search room for researchers investigating the extensive archive and reference library collections.

The Lincoln Episcopal Rolls and Registers are a Designated Collection. The size of the pre-Reformation Diocese of Lincoln makes this a key archive for English history from the mid-13th century onwards, especially up to the Reformation in 1542. The collections are nationally important and reflect the international nature of pre-Reformation England.
