The ISKCON Newcastle Centre is a public facility for people to explore and experience their own spiritual potential by practicing the techniques of spiritual living presented in the teaching of ISKCON's founder; His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Established in 1988 as a branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), we aim to provide an increasing variety of opportunities for you to engage with.

ISKCON Educational Services staff are trained in giving presentations on all aspects of Hinduism, either from a broad perspective or from our own standpoint within the tradition. Whether we are hosting you at our temple or visiting your school, our teaching programmes are tailor-made to suit your specific requirements.

ISKCON Educational Services staff offer presentations to primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities from the Hindu perspective and our tradition of Vaishnavism.
On a temple visit, classes can experience an authentic Hindu shrine, observe worship and enjoy a traditional vegetarian lunch.
We offer INSET training to teachers, trainee teachers, RE advisers and lecturers, helping with lesson plans for all Key Stages, using stories, dressing-up, the arti ceremony and Hindu culture. We also demonstrate practical skills such as stringing flower garlands or making divas using traditional ghee wicks.
Our gift shop offers RE resource packs, story books and artefacts.
