Sheffield Islamic Centre Madina Masjid Trust

We are pleased to announce that the new building is now operational ahead of an official launch and due to popular demand we have started a programme of visits for the public. We do not receive any external government or other funding to organise these visits; all costs are paid for by members of the congregation and the visits are organised by volunteers who are committed to improving understanding and dialogue with our local community.

There are three types of visits – group, individual and research. In each type of visit we will give a tour of the facilities, some background to Islamic belief and the activities we carry out in the masjid; as well as an open question & answer session for any questions you may wish to ask. We try to make sure that all the events are conducted in a relaxed, informal and easily understandable manner which enables you to gain the most from your visit.

We ask that you treat the masjid facilities with respect as it is in operational use, and that you pay due regard to the needs of other users. Please be aware that you will be asked to remove your shoes for much of the visit inside the building.
