Hungate Medieval Art aims to promote the beautiful medieval artefacts that can be found in churches across the county of Norfolk. Based in Norwich city centre, in the redundant church of St Peter Hungate, the centre acts as a hub from which visitors are encourage to explore the county. The centre is currently focusing on medieval stained glass with an exhibition, funded by the HLF and curated by Claire Daunton of University of East Anglia. Artistic advice is provided by the eminent Cambridge medievalist, Prof Paul Binski.
