White Lodge Museum and Ballet Resource Centre is the first dedicated ballet museum in the UK. It is housed within White Lodge - a Grade I listed building, which is now the home of The Royal Ballet Lower School.
Visitors to White Lodge Museum can learn about the daily life of students at The Royal Ballet School, the history and development of Classical ballet and the fascinating story of White Lodge itself. Displays feature material from the internationally significant Royal Ballet School Collections, including Margot Fonteyn’s ballet shoe, the death mask of Anna Pavlova, and the school reports of famous alumni.

White Lodge Museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
There are cloakroom facilities, however these are non-secure.
There is no provision for refreshments at White Lodge Museum. Nearby towns of Sheen and Richmond have plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Park & Ride:
A free Park and Ride service is provided from Sheen Gate of Richmond Park to White Lodge Museum, by appointment.
Train:
The nearest train station is Mortlake, from which it is approximately 15 minutes walk to Sheen Gate.
Underground:
The nearest tube is Richmond (District Line) from which it is approximately 30 minutes walk to Sheen Gate, or 15 minutes by taxi.
Car parking (by appointment):
Car parking is only available by prior arrangement, as required for disabled access, or coaches.
