St Katherine's is a vibrant new tourist destination, cultural resource and heritage and education venue for the local community, the city of Lincoln, the region and beyond. The centre is housed in a fully restored Wesleyan church building, an outstanding, grade II listed nineteenth century building that stands on the site of the Gilbertine priory of St Katherine, founded in 1148.
Interactive displays tell the story of the site and the venue will host a lively programme of exhibitions and events
The Heritage Lottery Fund have awarded the project £1.329 million, Lincolnshire Enterprise, WREN, Lincolnshire County Council, Lincoln City Council and Renaissance East Midlands are all supporting the project.

This exciting new on-line interactive is inspired by the patterns, shape and symmetry that can be seen in and around the building that will open in November 2009 in Lincoln as St Katherine's - 900 years of history.
