This grade I listed building is the only surviving windmill on the Isle of Wight, and is one of its best known landmarks. Built around 1700, its original machinery is still intact. The windmill has inspired many artists including J. M. W. Turner, with its glorious views across unspoilt countryside to the sea.

A circular walk to discover the wild food which grows in the area, some of which you’ve probably never noticed before. Hopefully we will find something to tempt your taste buds!
This is a walk of about 2 miles with lots of stops but please wear stout shoes

Cross-curricular guided tours of the Mill learning about how it worked, suitable for Key Stage 1 and 2. It is the only surviving windmill on the Isle of Wight, and the original machinery is still intact.
