Landscore Primary School

Jackie Abey and Jill Smallcombe have been collaborating as one artist for over ten years as Abey Smallcombe. Our craft is working with cob, earth plasters and other natural beautiful, sustainable materials. Cob is a mixture of subsoil, straw and water which has traditionally been used for building.

We have successfully carried out a number of large and smaller scale commissions. We have also exhibited nationally, taught all age groups, lectured internationally and researched earth structures in Europe, USA, India, Africa and Australia.

You can commission a unique work of art, or we can help you design a building or an interior, as well as project managing. We also run educational workshops and lectures, and run the 3 Little Pigs schools programme.
